Dr. Lisandro Carbó is a qualified Knee Consultant in Adult Complex Reconstruction and the deputy Head of the Degenerative Knee Department at the renowned Hospital Italiano in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
He has been trained during his fellowship at the Endoklinik in Hamburg, Germany. Dr. Carbó specializes in revision surgery, difficult primary cases and major reconstructions of knee pathology, performing 500 cases per year. Hospital Italiano is the main referral hospital of Argentina country and most part of the whole region.
Dr. Carbó is a well perceived lecturer on many conferences and also performs live surgeries on several local meetings. Additionally he has multiple publications in renowned journals and congresses.
He is member of numerous societies, such as AAOT, ACARO, AAKS, ERAS Society LatAm. In his research Dr. Carbó focusses on infection, knee revision surgery, allograft implementations in complex surgery, partial knee replacements and resurfacing implants for focal chondral defects.
