Prof. Eugenio Vecchini graduated with 110/110 in Medicine at the University of Verona in 1994. Continuing to specialize in Orthopedics and Traumatology, he subsequently graduated with honors in 1999 from the same University of Verona. In 2000 he took the position of Medical Doctor for the Orthopedic Clinic at the Verona University and since November 2002 he has been the Research Professor at this Orthopedic Clinic.
He has published several scientific articles in international journals and lectured at various conferences both nationally and internationally. Since 2005, he has developed his interest as a sports medicine specialist and from 2004 to 2011 was the club doctor of a number of important Italian soccer clubs. Since 2011, he is also the club doctor for the Italian Nordic Ski Federation.
He is very fond of sports, in particular skiing, running, cycling, swimming and kitesurfing.
