Takashi Sato, MD, PhD is the current Vice President of Niigata Medical Center, Director of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Niigata Medical Center, and Vice Clinical Professor at Niigata University School of Medicine which is located in Niigata city, Japan. A renowned surgeon in Japan and with a career spanning over 30 years, he has published and presented his work in high impact journals and conferences around the world. Dr. Sato’s research interests have focused on studying biomechanics of patients implanted with various TKAs and especially studying how mid-flexion stability after TKA affects patient expectation and quality of life.
